Kaawa Mpologoma is produced by Mwanyi Terimba Limited, a company established following the successful Emmwanyi Terimba ("Grow More Coffee") Campaign, an initiative launched by His Majesty the Kabaka of Buganda to encourage coffee cultivation, improve farmer livelihoods and promote value addition within Uganda's coffee industry. The campaign significantly increased coffee production in the region and inspired the creation of a premium coffee brand that could represent Buganda's rich agricultural heritage on the global stage.

Today, Kaawa Mpologoma brings that vision to life—connecting coffee lovers around the world with authentic Ugandan coffee while supporting farming communities and preserving generations of coffee-growing expertise.

Brewing Guide

For the freshest cup, grind only what you need before brewing.

Cafetière (French Press)

  • Grind to a coarse consistency.
  • Add 1–2 level tablespoons of coffee per 200ml of water.
  • Heat fresh water to 92–96°C (avoid boiling water).
  • Pour over the grounds and stir gently.
  • Brew for 4 minutes.
  • Slowly press the plunger and serve.
