To cook the dried cowpeas leaves (Kunde), you need to:
- Boil them with (water or milk) for around 10-15minutes to enable them to hydrate and have a soft texture
- You can drain the excess water or use it for the stew later
- Chop to required size (You can crush them with a mortar or Your hand straight from the pack)
- Cook just like any vegetable with onions, tomatoes and cream if desired.
- Choose any combination of serving like meat, ugali, rice, pasta etc.
- Serves 4 adults
